I’ve been bringing my truck here for 4 years. A lot of oil changes, replacing worn out parts and fluids and a couple of unexpected issues. I think I’ve had only one part go bad several months after they installed it but they replaced it for free. One thing I also like is that they give you a loner vehicle so I don’t have to make arrangements to get rides or take time off from work. Rusty and his staff are helpful and also get me in and out in a timely manner.

This auto shop was beyond beyond great service! The hospitality was unmatched. My car broke down on the side of the road and they took a look over my car shortly after it was towed to the shop. They were able to call me and give me a recommendation on what my options were for repair. They offered rides to and from. I am not from the Pheasant Hill or Des Moines area and they made the whole experience that much easier. Just overall unbeatable service from a great auto repair service I will for sure go back for servicing.

Didn’t hear me out about what was wrong w the car they mis diagnosed the heater core charged me for a service they said wasn’t the service I needed I paid for their mistake 3 days after this interaction the cv axle tore up the transmission and ruined our car we paid $800 for a maintenance inspection an oil change a headlight and a coolant flush just for the cv axle to give out and tear the transmission to shrapnel

Cost $85 to have them look at the passenger side rear door to "diagnosis " why the doom lite doesn't come on when the door is opened. Only go here if you have $$$$ to throw away. They wanted $254.00 more to fix the latch. Gave me an estimate to have brakes replaced, but gave it for the front but it's the rear brakes that need replacing.

Got us in right away and loaned us a car! Got our extended warranty to pay for all! Kept us up to date and informed. Very courteous!

I highly recommend Smith Auto. Rusty and his staff are awesome! A great shop with thorough and knowledgeable mechanics. They provide a comprehensive checklist with photos of items that may need attention going forward.

Basically had my car checked over. They gave me a list of the problems and didn't charge me! Gave me advice about maybe getting a different car or fix a little at a time. I appreciate honesty. I will definitely go back!
