Our car was caught up in a flash flood and needed a new engine, catalytic converter, and some electrical repairs. This was being done through an insurance claim, and had been sitting at a different shop due to a dispute between the other shop and our insurance company. I ended up getting ahold of Smith Automotive by happenstance, just googling shops in Pleasant Hill. I went through the issues we were having with the car and the other shop. Zac was AMAZING! He set up towing from the other shop, did the diagnostic, gave my insurance company a quote, and got approval within a day! Plus, they had a loaner car for us! We had been without a car for 3 weeks during this dispute, so them giving us a loaner on day one was such a load off our shoulders. Our car was done in a week, just like new. Throughout the process, Zac was in contact with us almost daily just to keep us informed on the progress. Smith Automotive has definitely gained another customer for any future auto needs we may have. They have the best customer service!

Hands down the best shop I’ve been to. Explained thoroughly what was going on and what needed to be done with my car. Not to mention the adorable four legged door greeter with the biggest smile ever!
